This Global Talent visa program has been designed to retain the world’s best and brightest skilled migrants to grow Australian businesses of the future.
GLOBAL TALENT 858
This program offers a streamlined, priority visa pathway for highly skilled individuals to work and live permanently in Australia.
Individuals must evidence their internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in an eligible field; and must be Nominated to apply for this visa by an individual or an organisation holding a national reputation in this same field.
If you are under 18 years old, or are 55 years or older when you apply, you must be of exceptional benefit to the Australian community.
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
You will need to lodge an EOI, which is an expression made to the Department of Home Affairs that you would like to be invited to apply for the Global Talent visa.
Individuals must be:
- highly skilled in one of the Minister’s defined sectors (or in a related sector); and
- currently earning, or likely to earn at or above the Fair Work high income threshold.
Successful EOI candidates will receive a unique reference identifier and a code to move forward with lodgement of the Global Talent visa.
