TEMPORARY SKILL SHORTAGE (TSS) 482
This program is the primary way for Australian business to recruit or transfer overseas workers within their business (it has replaced the previous Work (Skilled) 457 visa program).
There are 3 distinct parts to a TSS Subclass 482 visa application: Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS); Nomination; and Visa Application.
This is a temporary visa that can create pathways towards permanent residence under the Employer Nomination Scheme. NB. Changes released late November 2023 have created pathways to permanent residence for all 457/482 visa holders, regardless of occupation.
